Coach Duke is a Southwest Texas State grad and Scholar Athlete Award recipient. He begins year 33 with 19 of those in Greenville. He has also been Defensive Coordinator at Dallas Carter, Corsicana, and Bryan, and was AD Head Coach at Dallas Conrad. The Lions are looking to build back on back to back football playoff appearances in ’19 and ’20 and continue the resurgence of all teams in GISD. Coach Duke’s wife Emily is the State Director of Destination Imagination and a GHS teacher, Former flash colonel Stella is a freshman at UNT, Sawyer is a Senior Lion, and Scarlett is a Sophomore Lady Lion.
