Coach Bowers is a graduate from East Texas Baptist University where he played football all four year. He has coached for 8 years combined at Cumby, Ore City, and Daingerfield from most recent.  Coach Bowers' wife Erin is a coach and teacher at Lone Oak High School. Children Jack and Kenzi, 7 and 5 years old respectively.
