Coach Smith is a 1981 graduate of Greenville High School. He is going into his second year here at Greenville High School as the head boys basketball coach. He has spent half of his 33 years of coaching at Celeste High School. He also coached at Gilmer High School previously. 

He has been happily married to Shannon Smith (Remax Four Corners) for 24 years. Together they have three children Shawn, Brittney, and Jordan. They are proud grandparents to six grandchildren. They live here in the Community and Coach Smith is looking forward to being back home!
