Efe Osawemwenze

Coach Efe Osawemwenze, known affectionately as Coach O, is embarking on his first season with Greenville High School, bringing a decade of coaching experience to the program. As the Co-Defensive Coordinator, Coach O specializes in coaching the safeties and the Star position, demonstrating his expertise in developing dynamic and disciplined defensive units. Additionally, he plays a crucial role as the Director of Football Operations, where his organizational skills and strategic vision help drive the football program’s success.
A proud graduate of Duncanville High School, Coach O made a significant impact on the field as a 1st Team All-District wide receiver. He continued to excel at Southern University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. His football prowess was evident in college, where he was named a 2nd Team All-American and ranked 3rd in the nation for interceptions, showcasing his exceptional skills and playmaking ability.
Coach O's professional career includes playing in the Arena Football League and attending mini camp with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. His diverse experiences both as a player and coach enrich his approach to developing talent and leading his defensive squad.
With a blend of athletic achievement, academic background, and a deep understanding of football strategy, Coach O is a valuable asset to the Greenville High School football program.
