Coach Shomari Lewis is a Biology teacher and Varsity Assistant Boys Basketball Coach. He earned his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus, graduating summa cum laude, and holds certifications in Life Science and Composite Science.

Before joining Greenville ISD, Coach Lewis taught Biology and coached basketball at North Garland High School where he was named Teacher of the Year and Coach of the Month. In both the classroom and athletics, he believes in building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations, and helping students grow academically, athletically, and personally.

Coach Lewis is excited to be a Greenville Lion and looks forward to serving the students and community of Greenville ISD.
